Relocating from Michigan to the Bay Area in 1985 and licensed as a California Architect in 1988, Kathleen’s architectural career afforded her an opportunity to contribute to California communities by designing of a broad range of architecture, everything from residential developments, custom homes, retirement communities, childcare centers, school campuses to office buildings and fitness centers.

In 2001 following a successful career as an award-winning architect, Kathleen shifted her focus and became a Realtor®. Enhanced by the rigors and artistic demands of architecture, Kathleen’s professional contribution to real estate brokerage include an ability to draw upon exceptional insights in design and function developed in her architectural career. Her foundation for success in real estate was established in architecture through effective negotiations with developers, city planners, engineers and contractors.
 
Kathleen's connection with her real estate clients and an understanding of their values prompt her to extensively research the market data to meet their goals. Priding herself on maintaining strong client relationships through quality personalized service, she strives to exceed their expectations.
 
Her achievements’ in real estate encouraged her to earn her Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation. The CRS designation is the highest professional designation awarded to Realtors in the residential sales field; earned through a combination of advanced education and professional performance. Fewer than 5 percent of Realtors nationwide have earned this credential.
 
On a personal level, Kathleen's interests naturally include art and architecture she also has passion for skiing and scuba diving.
